The teaching methodology adopted at the School of Nursing is intensive as well as extensive classroom teaching involving active participation of the students. Theoretical classroom teaching is supplemented by clinical work. It also includes preparation of project reports, project presentation, submission of assignments, seminars, etc. The students shall be awarded for the best academic and professional performances. In order to expose the students to practical aspects of Nursing, regular visits to Zonal Hospital Una, various PHCs and CHCs etc. have been made an essential part of day-to-day curriculum. In addition, visits to industrial establisments, hospitals, within or outsite the state are paid on regular basis. The school of Nursing endeavors to impart health literacy among the masses through organizing health awareness camps and inculcate a sense of discipline, personal character responsibility, ethical and moral values and a spirit of national integration in the students to serve the country and the humanity.
